ABOUT THE *WITEZ II OWNERS NETWORK
1. PRESERVATION: The *Witez II Owners Network was formed in order to bring together Owners and Breeders of *Witez II Horses. The purpose of the Network is to locate and identify living descendants of *Witez II. The Network is a Preservation Group, and our goal is to join together in order that we may continue to breed the best and finest of *Witez II Horses.
2. PROMOTION:  Throughout each year, *Witez II Owners Network conducts a Group Advertising campaign in a national Arabian magazine.  All *WON Members are invited to participate in each ad and participation is voluntary.
*WITEZ II PRESERVATION ARABIANS
*Witez II Preservation Arabians are at least 25% *Witez II breeding.  The living *Witez II Preservation Arabians owned by our members range in age from  foals born in 2005 to 30+ years old Senior Citizens.  Our most precious gem is WitezaQuatraCroce, the only living 50% *Witez II mare in the world.  The last 50% *Witez II stallion,  Eds Witez died in 2002. 

Collectively, members of the *Witez II Owners Network  account for just under 100 *Witez II Preservation Arabians.  This is a very small group of horses and it is going to take a very strong effort to preserve the gene pool for the future.  It is our goal to locate more *Witez II Preservation Arabians in the hope of strengthening the position of the *Witez II related Arabian in the future.

HOW TO JOIN US

*Witez II Owners Network is for people who own or lease a *Witez II related horse.  Upon verification of the relationship of your horse to *Witez II, you will be qualified to join the *Witez II Owners Network.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

$60.00 Annual Membership for Calendar Year - January 1 through December 31.
Your membership includes:
  • Listing in the Members Directory with a link to your personal Member Web Pages
  • Individual Member Web Pages with a description of your breeding program and services, listing all owned/leased *Witez II related horses,  Member contact information and Photo Pages for your *Witez II related horses.
  • Two Free Photo Classified Ads.  Ads available during the time of paid Annual Membership.  Ads may be updated and/or changed at no cost to current Member. 
  • Invitation to participate in Group Advertising.

Be sure to include the following information.
  • Mailing address
  • Phone and Fax numbers (if applicable)
  • Email Address (if applicable)
  • Website URL (if applicable)
  • List of your *Witez II related horses by name and registration number. If your horse is a part-bred Arabian, list the first purebred Arabians in each cross in each generation.  (Example: Purebred sire/dam, purebred maternal grandsire/dam, purebred maternal great grandsire/dam, etc.)
  • Write a short personal introduction telling about your involvement with the *Witez II horses and the services you provide to horse owners.
  • Photos of all *Witez II related horses you want on your personal Web Pages. (Can be sent by email, JPEG format only.)

FREE PHOTO SCANNING
Your photos will be scanned and returned to you by mail.
(Photos may also be sent by email in JPG format.)

CLASSIFIED ADS
Members and Non-Members

  • Only *Witez II related horses, or unrelated mares checked in foal to a *Witez II stallion.
  • $15 - Limit 50 words, exclusive of contact information.
  • $30 - With photo
Each ad is online for 6 calendar months.
 
  • MEMBER WEB PAGES
  • $60 per year (January 1 - December 31).  Includes Page Design and Maintenance.  All Member Web Pages have the same layout and format.  (Membership will not be pro-rated by month.)
  • Member name and address
  • Three photos of your *Witez II horses.
  • Description of your involvement with *Witez II Horses and services you provide to horse owners.
  • List of all your *Witez II related horses
  • Photo pages for all your *Witez II related horses.
    • Prices through December 31, 2008.
