| We established
Chiggerville Farm high in the rugged mountains of the Ozark Plateau in
northwest Arkansas in 2000. Our goal is to stand and breed
champion competitive trail purebred Arabians with an emphasis on Polish
and *Witez II bloodlines. Being located just a quarter mile from the Ponca Wilderness of the Buffalo National River, our foals grow up in mountainside pastures and forests developing common sense, surefootedness and endurance (bones, heart, lungs and muscles) from day one. We train our own and outside horses in this most difficult terrain. Bev is a long-time trail rider with an impressive record of 19 competitive trail, endurance and Arabian Horse Association National and Regional Championships and Top Sixes. We are applying her passion for quiet, correct, athletic Arabians to our breeding program. We believe that the best minded, people oriented horses are those of *Witez II descent. We offer limited training and Arabian stud service. Our stallion is a *Witez II Preservation Horse as many of our North American Trail Ride Conference (NATRC) National Champions have been. We welcome outside mares. For distance riding national champion mares we offer a stud fee discount. Besides becoming our senior stallion, with his wonderful disposition and fast walk, Raven will now move from his show experience to competitive trail riding. Look for us on the trails in NATRC Regions 4 and 6 over the next few years. In keeping with our farm’s mission statement, Raven and Bev will be working to earn him his NATRC National Championship.
