In 1987 we purchased a weanling colt, LR Kailai Witez.  Kailai became a Champion Cutting Horse in NCHA, RMCHA and IACHA competition.  Kailai showed at the National Level, was a regional champion, a snaffle-bit champion and a Scottsdale champion.  He retired completely sound after a grueling 4 year show career and was an excellent sire.  Kailai died in 2006.

Our first *Witez II Preservation Mare was WD Mirondo, a *Witez II granddaughter.  She was barren after foaling only one colt.  In 1995 we purchased two *Witez II Preservation Mares, Sirref Witezza and WitezaQuatraCroce.  Both were bred to Kailai and two *Witez II Preservation fillies were foaled in 1996.  Witez Dream Free and Fourever Witez Free are precious members of our herd of *Witez II Preservation Arabians.

The loss of Kailai has put a huge hole in our breeding program.  We did not breed to Kailai in 2004 and 2005 due to his health problems.  We had hopes of his getting well enough to breed, but that did not happen.  In 2007, we bred two of our Miss Bay Bee daughters to Surprise Free (LR Kailai Witez x Azrahami Free) that is owned by Brower Ranch Arabians.  We got Dandy Free (gelding) and a fantastic filly, Gypsy Free.

The diversity of the Arabian gene pool is shrinking due to the availability of transported semen and easy access to a few heavily promoted stallions.  *Witez II Preservation Arabians are an exceptionally powerful outcross which will maintain the vigor, beauty and versatility of the Arabian horse.
